Traditionally, making resolutions for the new year is part of the New Year’s celebration. It is a time to reflect on where we want to grow and what we want to achieve. It can also be a time for connecting with the divine, Source, and experiencing love, connection, forgiveness, and acceptance. However, by the end of January, many people have let go of working on those resolutions. What if we considered how our internal vibrations match our external environment? Many of us tend to avoid this, yet this type of introspection can be one of the greatest gifts.
As vibrational beings, we hold a unique vibrational frequency that is constantly flowing and changing. Our thought vibrations and emotional vibrations are integrated into our overall frequency, which is also connected to our spiritual vibrational frequency. Our emotions come from our hearts, the seat of the soul, and I believe these are the strongest vibrations. That said, our thoughts—and their corresponding vibrational frequencies—often create our feelings mentally. We tend to think our emotions rather than truly feel them in our heart space, the soul space.
For instance, if you carry a thought with the vibrational frequency of hurt and anger, without forgiveness, you will attract more of that into your life. The universe responds to what you think and feel, matching your vibrational frequency. Your life experiences are coherent and what you seem to attract or feel drawn to.
On the other hand, when you align with your soul center, your heart, and embrace a vibrational frequency of forgiveness, love, and acceptance, the universe matches that frequency. This energy aligns your inner environment with your external environment, creating harmony.
When we cultivate positive thoughts and connect our minds and hearts, we create and experience a beautiful world. Many people recite affirmations without involving genuine feelings and while ignoring their true negative thoughts. As a result, they continue to recreate the negative world they experience. The more frustrated or angry they become, the more power those vibrations exert in shaping their reality.
When making New Year’s resolutions, remember to feel from the heart the love and abundance you genuinely desire. Stay vigilant about correcting your thoughts and keeping them positive. Make your goals realistic by breaking them into smaller steps that build toward your larger aspirations. Finally, connect your heart and soul with the divine and the quantum field, allowing it to guide you.
