As you are beginning to realize who you truly are, through Divine Love, how do you maintain a connection with your true self? Maintaining connection with your true self allows you to be the best you that you can possibly be.
So, how do you do this? Like anything else, by practicing. Yes, the more you practice connecting and being your new self, the more you become your new self. It may take a while to get into the groove, but will come naturally with time. Every time you enter into the vibration of your Divine Self, your own inner self, that vibration slowly becomes your normal vibration longer and longer, and in more and more situations when you would normally be stressed, you are able to maintain your inner love and calm.
The most important practice to remember is your breathing. Your breath is the key link to the divine. Take the time to practice breathing deep into your belly for a count of 4. Hold that breath for a count of 4, then slowly release for a count of 4, and pause for a count of 4. I recommend you start by practicing this at least 3 times in the morning when you first get up and then when you are getting ready to go to sleep. Do your best to envision Divine healing love and light coming in and anything negative releasing out.
As you become used to the deep breathing, and gain the muscle memory, you can begin practicing this exercive once an hour, then every time you want to take a pause; like at a stop sign, in line at the grocery store, or anywhere else that you desire inner peace.
My favorite practice when I was first starting was to stop anytime I was near a mirror, place my hand on my stomach, and take in a deep breath, watching my hand come out with the inhale, and in with the exhale.
Another practice to connect and be your best self, is to meditate daily. You can meditate even just using your deep breathing. Focusing on your breath is a fine meditation. You can also choose a guided meditation. There are many sources for techniques, including some great apps to practice the art of meditation. Practicing meditation is a mindful way to connect with the Divine. And, as mentioned above, every time you connect with your divine self, it gets easier and easier, faster and faster, and changes your vibration to become more and more in alignment with the Divine. Assisting you in mindfully being your best self, the new you that you want to be.
These are the two most popular ways to practice being the new you you wish to be and create a firm foundation to grow on. As practice makes connection easier, you can start to mindfully take the deep, divine breath to calm yourself in any moment, connect with your center, your Divine self, and in the pause, choose your actions and responses that are in alignment with your new vibration and your new you. Choosing mindfully who you want to be, moment by moment so you can enjoy life on your terms, being the you you want to be.
