When you find yourself out of balance mentally, physically, emotionally and/or spiritually, you can start to re-create your own inner balance. One of the ways to do this is to take and inventory of how you are spending your time. Are your spending all your time at the gym? at work? meditating, and just fitting in other activities in the spare time?
Start by being honest with yourself and your time. Keep a log for a week or two and see where it takes you. You can then look at your priorities. Do you really need that paper due tomorrow, or can you work on it tomorrow and spend time with your family today? Or, if you don’t have family, would it be helpful and balanced to clear your head by meditating or biking, doing yoga?
Just look at your priorities and your flow of time and see if you really like how you are being living your life. Each moment matters, it’s a precious one that you will not get a re-do on, so be mindful how you spend it.
